I took these out of the box in the parking lot of my post office and two different men came up to my car to see them! I just love the style. The colors are true to the pics.Now for the fit. The inside of the boots are NOT lined with leather like my Tacova or Ariat boots. They have a polyester lining and the foot bed is pretty hard. I had to put in inserts so that the fit would be more comfortable standing for long periods. The fit is snug in the toe bed but loosened up the first couple of hours I wore them. My calves are 14" at the widest point. They fit fine and I can fit my hand inside the boot when they are on. I would say that 16" calves would be about as big as the boot would fit. I can get leggings and skinny jeans to fit inside the boot but my straight leg jeans will not fit inside because of too much fabric. The heel is solid and the height is perfect. These are the only boots I have had where the right and left look almost the same but inside feels like a cowboy boot. I am a pretty solid size 9.5-10 in women's shoes. A size 10 is the smallest size to fit. These are not likely to fit if you have wide feet. I would say the fit is average to narrow. Order a half size up if you like a looser fit.
