The pictures make this dress look amazing. In reality, it is not so great. The dress is made of a more gauzy material like a soft chiffon, rather than the more satiny-sheeny look that you see in the photos.The bustline is much higher than in the photos. I would call this dress an empire waist dress because the skirt fabric starts to flow right under the bustline rather than at the waist. It's like someone forgot to add a waist to the dress.And the skirt. It is not a full skirt. The dress is essentially two pieces of fabric that wrap around you, and there's an opening in the middle of the skirt. Not what I was expecting since the photos do not depict this slit at all. Just bizarre to me.
